The Center for Military Human Rights Korea (CMHRK) pursues realization of humanitarian values of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international human rights laws within the Korean military.
As a member of the Korean civil society, the CMHRK unflinchingly calls upon the Korean authorities and each one of the military personnel to uphold the fundamental rights of individuals; the Center will endeavor to protect soldiers from all human rights infringements and all forms of discrimination by providing victims with legal assistance and counseling along with education programs, enhancing welfare system, monitoring disarmament state, reforming and observing anti-human rights legislation, policies and practices.
